Meal Planning Sundays: Week of 12/31 through 1/6

I used to do a meal planning series, and because of time, I have backed off a bit.  I find, though, that this is a great way to have everything in one place (links and everything), and to share with others!  So, here we go!

Sunday (prep for Monday)

Prep for making homemade sprouted flour (soak, rinse, dry), water kefir, milk kefir (for smoothies), and homemade yogurt.

Monday, December 31

  • Breakfast- Scrambled eggs (with coconut oil and real salt), smoothies, apple slices.
  • Lunch- Nitrate-free salami and turkey, raw cheddar, pumpkin chips, carrots, and broccoli.
  • Dinner- Venison Chili
  • Prep for next day- Soak oats overnight and boil eggs, thaw venison

Tuesday, January 1

Wednesday, January 2

  • Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, smoothies, and apple slices
  • Lunch- Sandwiches on sprouted bread, veggie chips
  • Dinner- Tomato Veggie Soup and grilled cheese (with raw cheddar on sprouted bread)
  • Prep for next day- Slice apples and dehydrate, thaw venison, soak oats for baked oatmeal

Thursday, January 3

  • Breakfast- Soaked and baked apple cinnamon oatmeal
  • Lunch- Nitrate-free salami and turkey, raw cheddar, pumpkin chips, carrots, and broccoli
  • Dinner- Venison Stew
  • Prep for next day- Soak oats for breakfast cookies, put whole chicken in the fridge to thaw for Saturday

Friday, January 4

  • Breakfast- Breakfast cookies (using sweet potato instead of pumpkin!)
  • Lunch- Cottage cheese, boiled egg, grape tomatoes, carrots, broccoli
  • Dinner- “Finger foods” for game night!
  • Prep for next day- None

Saturday, January 5

  • Breakfast- Sprouted wheat pancakes
  • Lunch- Sandwiches with raw honey and peanut butter, fruits/veggies
  • Dinner- Herb roasted chicken, roasted veggies, and quinoa
  • Prep for next day- None

Sunday, January 6

  • Breakfast- Breakfast cookies
  • Lunch- Baked potatoes
  • Dinner- Leftovers
  • Prep for week- Make sprouted bread, boil eggs, ferment milk and water kefir, begin process to make more sprouted flour (soak, rinse, and dry), slice fruits/veggies for the week, dehydrate some fruits, make homemade tortillas, and make homemade sprouted crackers.
